Pricing questions

What counts as a text?

Every text your team sends and every text a customer sends you. Phone carriers carry texts in pieces of 160 characters (70 if it has emoji or some accented letters), so a longer text counts once for each piece. SmsDesk shows how many a text will count as while you type it.

What does setup cost?

A one-time fee between $600 and $1,500, depending on how much work your numbers need. We quote it before we start. It covers setting up texting on your number, porting numbers if needed, and registering your business with the carriers.

When am I charged?

Once a month, to the card on file, for the month just ended. Your admins see this month's running total any time on the Billing page.

Can we add or remove people any time?

Yes. Your admins add and remove people themselves. Each month you pay for the most people who had a login at the same time.

Is there a contract?

No. You pay month to month and can stop whenever you like.
